These pictures and video clips were taken on September 1, 2003 at 6:30 P.M..  There is not much in the line of dust because today was rather cloudy and the grain was starting to get tough.

This machine is used to separate the grain from the straw.

We are able to cut 18 feet in width.

The straw is expelled out the rear of the combine.

The grain is stored in a bin on the combine and when the bin is full the grain is transferred to dump wagon.

Harvesting Straw

Planting

seeding1.jpg (45224 bytes) After the seedbeds have been prepared.... seeding2.jpg (32101 bytes) we plant our crop.  This occurs on the first week of May, generally.
Corn Harvest
